Ripple and XRP and Ethereum Compatibility
30.11.1999
Ripple startup wants the interaction between Ethereum and the XRP token. The tool for this will be the Interledger Protocol (ILP). This task is implemented by the Xpring unit. The developers received a list of tasks to achieve the goal. The following was published on the Xpring blog: “Interoperability between XRP, Ethereum, and ERC-20 tokens is desirable.” XRP Asset is recognized as one of the most circulating assets in the world. It does not support smart contracts and does not have computing capabilities. To complete the tasks, the programmers were given a milking period of February 26th.
The open source protocol for blockchain-based transactions is called Interledger. ILP makes it possible to carry out operations between different registries, based on the analogue of the guarantor. The guarantor is called the router. Xpring manager Paul Anderson explained the reason for the desired compatibility. The market is actively developing, therefore, it is worth developing the ability to support smart contracts. Paul emphasized that the company is supporting open source projects. The Flare Network project has been approved by Xpring. Blockchain compatibility plays an important role in the cryptocurrency industry.
